How Latitude handles your personal data when you read our editorial guides, subscribe to our newsletter, request a market report or contact us.
1. Who we are
Latitude (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an editorial magazine published at latitude.asia by MaproGlobal OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia. We are the controller of personal data collected through the Site within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with the Site:
- Newsletter and report sign-ups: your email address, optionally your first name, and the topic parameters of your sign-up (geography, report).
- Enquiry forms: the information you choose to provide when you contact us or a listed brand.
- Analytics: aggregated, pseudonymised usage data via Google Analytics 4, only if you have consented.
- Marketing: Meta Pixel events, only if you have consented.
- Technical: IP address, browser identifier, referrer URL, processed by our hosting provider for delivering the Site.
3. Why we process it
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To deliver the Site, the newsletter and the reports you request (contract / legitimate interest).
- To understand how our editorial guides perform (consent-based analytics).
- To measure marketing campaigns and reach interested readers (consent-based marketing).
- To respond to your enquiries and operate the directory claim process (legitimate interest).
4. Who we share it with
We use carefully selected processors to operate Latitude:
- Vercel Inc.— website hosting.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS)— newsletter delivery, contact list management and report download emails.
- Google Ireland Limited— Google Analytics 4, only with consent.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited— Meta Pixel, only with consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the European Economic Area, in the United States or other countries. Where this applies, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Report requesters: until you unsubscribe. Enquiry data: as long as operationally relevant, typically 24 months. Analytics: 14 months. Server logs: as needed for security and operations.
7. Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact hello@latitude.asia.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For readers in the EU, this is the data protection authority in your country of residence.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The date at the top of this page shows when we last updated it. Material changes will be announced via the Site.
